Course Description:
-This course is divided into two separate sections.  The first half on the year will be a study of theUnited States History up to the Civil War while the second half will detail the formation as well as the workings of our Government.  A major focus this course is the ability to form an opinion on controversial subjects involving government and the organization of our country.  Thus, persuasive essays will be a major element in evaluation.
