Economics is a course designed to introduce students to real world economic questions and concepts, on both a global and personal scale.  Students will be introduced to various types of economic systems, as well as business organizations. Students will investigate the development of modern business and economic systems, as well as learning about basic economic concepts such as supply and demand, prices and economic decision making, and employment labor and wages.  Students will have the opportunity to examine their role in an ever expanding economy, and analyze their own economic power and opportunities.

The Stock Market Game is a year long project that challenges students to analyze market forces, current events and many other factors to make informed investment decisions.
