Graphic Design

This course emphasizes the graphic design process while applying the basic principles and elements of design. Students will have multiple opportunities to demonstrate understanding through a variety of learning activities; including the creation of logos, symbols, posters, brochures, and other informational material.  Students will design and create authentic goods using a variety of software applications and output methods, while exploring various career fields.  Typography will be explored and students will demonstrate how ideas are communicated through type and graphic images.
