Film and Video Production

This course will provide students with hands-on, problem solving experience using video recording and editing devices. Students will focus on video production, concepts, ideas, and techniques, while utilizing digital video equipment to produce a final product. Students will work individually and in teams to apply digital editing technique, including DVD authoring and special effects, in creating both live and post-production video.  The class will be responsible for planning and creating a live broadcast of the school’s morning announcements show and news segments.
