Who: South Elementary School students and their families

What: Reading, estimation jars, free books, games, crafts, treats…

When: Wednesday, June 13th

Where: School cafeteria

What: Please bring in gently used chapter books that other 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will enjoy!

Please bring in books: Monday, June 4th through Tuesday, June 12th.  There is a 10 book limit and no picture books please!

** Reading teachers will collect books from classrooms and give students tickets that they will use to get other books at the swap. **

South Elementary Field Day

Schedule is as follows:

AM session (8:15 AM-11:00 AM)​: Mrs. ​Cutler, Mrs.  DeVaux, Mrs. C.V., Friend, Mrs. Orlandi, Mrs. Weppler, Mrs. Landry,Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Niemitz.

PM session (12:15 PM – 2:45 PM):​ Mrs. ​Gleason, Mrs. Pelley,  Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Dennis, Mrs. Siegel,Mrs. Hanusch, Mr. Jones, Mrs. Lavariere, Mrs. Ragion.

Our 5th grade will be performing the Wizard of Oz,  at  Windsor Locks High School Auditorium. The performance is on Friday, April 27, 2018. Performers should arrive between 5:00 – 5:30. Doors will open at 6:00 and the show starts at 6:30. There is no charge for this event. Students must be accompanied by an adult.

SES PTO School Store

    The SES School Store will be open:

 Fri., April 20 - 5th grade students

  Fri., April 29 – 4th grade students

Fri., May 4 – 3rd grade students

Prices range between $.10 and $2.00 and all funds are used by

the PTO to support SES activities!

ATTENTION! Bus transportation times have been adjusted for the MORNING run! Effective Tuesday, March 13, 2018, South Elementary school students will be picked up five minutes later, in the morning. Friday, March 16th @ 7:15 PM XL Center, Hartford Doors open at 6:00 pm.

Tickets are $15.00  each. $5.00 of each ticket sold goes to support the SES PTO!

DR. SEUSS DAY Friday March 2nd 2018. Students and staff at WLHS have planned a morning of activities for our South Elementary School Students. Bus transportation is being provided. Our students will be accompanied by their classroom teachers and South Staff Members. They will be headed to the high school at 8:50 am, and will return to South by 10:35 am.
