Windsor Locks High School’s Show Choir,Vocal Motion, is very excited to be hosting the 25^th Anniversary Nutmeg Show Choir Festival on Saturday, February 28, 2015. 

Vocal Motion will be welcoming 18 show choirs from New England and Virginia to perform in this year’s festival.  There will be two showcases.  The first showcase will be at 10:30 AM and the second showcase will be at 4:00 PM.  Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.  Tickets are general admission and are good for the entire day.  There are a limited number of reserved tickets available in the front of the auditorium at $20 per ticket.  (Discounts do not apply to these reserved seats.)  Tickets are SOLD OUT!

This year, the group of 32 vocalist and 10 instrumentalists is celebrating our 30^th Anniversary as a Show Choir! Vocal Motion is celebrating the milestone anniversary by having a good time Getting Ready & Dancing in the Street, Singing Songs, Getting Loud & On our Feet during this high energy show. Vocal Motion is under the direction of Judy Schober with Choreography by Sharon Whalen. Our selections feature soloists Rachel Paul, Chris Santiago, Austin O’Brien & Shannon Swanson, as well as a special trio featuring Chris Santiago, Mitch Charette & Connor Hotchkin, and a dance solo by Sarah Bachman.

In addition to the Nutmeg Show Choir Festival, Vocal Motion performed at the Central Massachusetts Show Choir Festival on February 7, 2015 and will also be performing at the New England Show Choir Showdown in Andover, Massachusetts on March 21, 2015.
