Wednesday, April 5th from 7:30am - 11:30am, all 9-11 grade students will be sitting for specific grade level tests for state required graduation standards. All juniors will take the SAT exam, free of charge, and they will be able to submit these scores to colleges. The sophomores will be taking the Science CAPT which will be given as an online format this year. The freshmen will be working on a specific Science Performance Task and they will take MAP testing.
Students should look at rosters outside of guidance next week to see where they have been assigned to test for the morning. Gr. 11 and Gr. 9 students should make sure they bring #2 pencils with them and calculators to their testing room. The majority of the Gr. 11 students will be testing in the gym and their break time will be in the lobby between the gym and the auditorium; students will not be allowed anywhere else in the building during this testing time.
NO CELL PHONES will be allowed in the testing rooms. Students should either leave their cell phones in their lockers or they will have to put their phones.
If you have any questions please contact, Mrs. Deborrah Ramirez - Director of School Counseling.
The Square 1 packets are being distributed to students on 3/28/2017. Orders are due back to school by April 7, 2017. Thank you.
