My teaching philosophy is very simple. I believe that each student is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desires as an educator, to help students meet their fullest potential in mathematics by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites the sharing of ideas. 

 I   am a self- directed enthusiastic educator with 17 years of experience in middle, high and post-secondary levels and a passionate commitment to student development and the learning experience. I am skilled in the design of challenging, enriching, and innovative activities that address the diverse interest and needs of students. I possess outstanding communication skills; I present information in a variety of ways, collaborate with all levels of staff and faculty members and establish quality relationships with students and parents.  I welcome parents to be active members of their students education and I look forward to our educational partnership.
