The Aces High Robotics team finished in first place in their second district robotics competition this weekend at Western New England College! In addition to winning the competition, they also got the Quality Award for their robot. They are now ranked 4th in New England, out of 203 teams!! Way to go Aces High!

Attention High School Seniors and Current Undergraduates:
The Buick Achievers Scholarship Program, which is funded by the GM Foundation, is recognizing extraordinary people who have been seeking to over come obstacles, have taken the steps to move ahead, and are bettering themselves and their communities. 50 renewable scholarships in the amount of $25,000.00 per year for 4 years will be given out.
Buick Achievers are encouraging the following to apply:
- High School Seniors and Current Undergraduates
- Those who plan to enroll full time at a 4-year college/university in 2016-2017
- Those who plan to major in a specific course of study focused on engineering, technology or design, with an interest as well in the automotive industry

Beginning January 1, 2016, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2016-2017 college school year will be available online at https://fafsa.ed.gov.

Attention Junior Parents:
The Windsor Locks High School Counseling Department will be hosting a Junior Parent Post-Secondary Planning Evening on Wednesday, December 9, 2016 at 6pm in the Media Center.
This evening will provide Junior Parents with important information on the college and career planning process as students move from their junior to senior year and beyond.
