Welcome to the WLHS Business Education Department!

In a rapidly changing, highly complex society, students need certain business information and experience to carry on their daily lives and meet their responsibilities in the world of work.  The Business Education program is a flexible one that provides the opportunity to add these skills and understandings in the attainment of a well-rounded high school experience. The Business Education Department is designed to meet the needs of all students who desire a comprehensive view and understanding of the business world.  The curriculum offers courses to meet career and personal interests.  

Course offerings have a dual purpose:

• To provide courses and experiences for the development of career and entry level skills for students who seek employments during and immediately after high school.
• To offer general business exposure for all students, regardless of future educational plans, in order that they will become economically literate as consumers, citizens and future employees.
