Personal Vision Statement:

I want every student whom I come in contact with to feel confident, respected, and equipped to handle their future. I want every student in my class to feel as if they are a better person and a more educated student for having been in my class.

Personal Mission Statement

I am a nurturer with a desire to instill in young people the desire to succeed.  I believe that everyone has the potential for greatness when they can believe in themselves and are empowered to shine. I believe that we all have the capability to accept and embrace differences and cultures and treat others with kindness and respect. I am an agent to help shape the students that I teach and I will create the conditions to which students can learn and grow in my classroom every day.  I will teach by example.

I expect respect for yourself and for others.

I expect your best effort, even when you don’t want to give it.

I expect an open mind – when one’s mind is closed you cannot put other things in it.

I expect that when we make mistakes we can learn from them and not hold it against anyone - especially yourself.
