Our classes are comparing the Ming and Qing dynasties of China (1368-1644, 1644-1912), listing the pros and cons of each, preparing to discuss which period was more successful and how each could be improved.

American Studies

We are examining the conflict between the British and French colonies in North America  in the 1700s. These differences led to the French and Indian War.  As a result, the relationship between Britain and her American colonies changed.

World Civilization

We explore the rise of Rome and the spread of a new European civilization around the Mediterranean.  How did Rome's early republic inspire the founding fathers of the United States?
