Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to the 2015-16 school year! I am proud to return for my 14th year as a math teacher at Windsor Locks High School. I currently teach A.P. Calculus AB, Honors Geometry, Honors Algebra 2, and Honors Pre-Calculus. My additional roles at WLHS include Math Team co-advisor, coach of Boys Tennis and Grade 9 - 12 Math Curriculum Coordinator. I am also a proud alumni of Windsor Locks High (1989), Connecticut College (BA, 1993) and Western New England College (MAMT, 2006).
Thank you for visiting my home page; thank you for your patience as I gradually develop this site to be an informative resource and communication tool. Beyond the essential items such as course syllabi, assignments lists, and course expectations, I will be including links to other mathematics and educational sites you may find helpful. I also urge you to create an account with Power School to have 24-hour access to grade reports in the Parent Portal that I update at least weekly.
The success of each of my students is my top priority as a teacher. Please feel free to send me questions, concerns or suggestions to swandzy@wlps.org or to my voice mail at 292-5831. I look forward to working with you throughout the school year.
Respectfully,
Steve Wandzy
