Welcome to the Windsor Locks English Language Learners (ELL) Homepage

The Windsor Locks ELL Program believes that all children from all cultures can be successful contributing citizens in our community. We have about 53 children participating in the ELL program across the district with over 18 languages spoken.

Our program is coordinated by Ms. Mika Fleck, certified ELL teacher with support from two ELL tutors: Bonnie Zacharais and Elsie Mangeri.

Since 2003-2004 school year, our district has grown over 200% in the number of ELL students we serve. The program continues to grow at the state rate of about 18% increase each year.
