I have been teaching in the Pupil Services department at Windsor Locks High for twelve years, and teaching in the public schools of Connecticut for twenty-one years.

In addition to my academic support classes, I will be performing a variety of functions that facilitate student success. These duties include but are not limited to:  collaborating with general education teachers in mainstream classrooms to support identified students' academic success; consulting with classroom teachers regarding students' instructional and behavioral needs; meeting with students' to work toward mastery of their IEP goals and objectives; collaborating with classroom teachers to develop classroom strategies and review student progress; and, meeting with students and/or their guardians to review, plan and support overall academic success and transitional planning.

My mission is to provide students a fair and flexible learning environment where differentiated lessons are taught in alignment with common core standards, positive behaviors are reinforced, and students are “workers” whose strengths are nurtured while their concerns are remediated
